Newly Elected Ruffino and DeRosa Join the Town Council

On Jan 3rd, 2019 newly elected councilperson Rosario Ruffino and John DeRosa are sworn in for duty for Saddle River Town Council.

After elections in November 2018, Saddle River residents Rosario Ruffino and John DeRosa were inaugurated by Mayor Al Kurpis as two new members of the Saddle River Town Council. This was done before the 1st official Town Council session began on Jan 3rd, 2019 at the Municipal Building in Saddle River, NJ.

Both new members ran on the ticket together as a team and cited their professional business expertise and acumen to help the Council with the future challenges facing the town and residents. Both were sworn in by Mayor Kurpis and were joined by their family members during the ceremony.

After the inauguration ceremony was finished, the Town Council went ahead on official town business and set agendas for the evening.
